PRE-ACADEMIC COURSE

The Pre-Academic Course is designed for those with basic music training who seek structured preparation in a certified multidisciplinary program. Admission is through an audition, and the course concludes with an exam leading to pre-academic certification. It is ideal for students wishing to further develop their musical studies and skills.
DURATION: one to three years.


WHO IS IT FOR
Cluster Music School’s Pre-Academic Course is suitable for:
• students planning to pursue university studies in music
• those who want their music studies to be officially certified
• aspiring professional musicians
On March 28, 2019, an agreement was signed between Cluster and the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory of Milan for pre-academic courses in the Classical, Jazz, and Rock & Pop departments. Since 2012, Cluster has also been an official partner of The Institute of London University and a recognized examination center of Trinity College London (Classical and Rock & Pop).
CERTIFICATIONS
The Pre-Academic Pathway is certified and continuously monitored through assessments. During the program students take part in:
• Concerts
• Live performances
• Seminars
• Trinity College London exams, internationally recognized and aligned with the EQF – European Qualification Framework


PRE-ACADEMIC COURSE
The program includes a weekly individual singing or instrumental lesson (30, 45, or 60 minutes), with a personalized curriculum designed to support each student’s musical growth and develop their individual potential.
In addition, students attend a weekly 55-minute complementary group class, either theoretical, cultural, or practical, based on a standard curriculum.

DOUBLE PRE-ACADEMIC COURSE
The program includes a weekly individual singing or instrumental lesson (30, 45, or 60 minutes), with a personalized curriculum designed to support each student’s musical growth and develop their individual potential.
In addition, students attend two weekly 55-minute group classes in complementary subjects—whether theoretical, cultural, or practical, following a standard curriculum. To further enrich their studies, students may also take a second complementary course at no additional cost.

BOOK YOUR AUDITION!
The audition includes a short theory test, an interview, and the performance of two pieces of your choice (up to 6 minutes in total). On the day, remember to bring:
• books or sheet music you’ve worked on in past years
• your instrument if you play guitar or bass
• any backing track you might need for your performance
